Founded in 1989 by Horry County native, Frankie Goude, Budget Heating & Air is a family owned and operated business. At the age of 17, Frankie began servicing HVAC equipment during his summers off from school. It was then he decided to make heating and cooling his profession and started Budget Heating and Air from his home. He was the sole employee of Budget Heating & Air until he moved the business to its current location in prominent downtown Conway, South Carolina.

Also born and raised in Horry County, Kevin was nine years old at the time his dad started Budget Heating & Air. Anxious to someday work beside his dad, Kevin worked every summer with Frankie learning the different aspects of heating & air until he came on board full-time in 1999 as a service technician. At this time, the company had grown to employ four men and ran two trucks. In 2001 Kevin was given full responsibility of the service department, which allowed Frankie to focus on growing the company even more.

In 2003, Budget Heating & Air purchased the Rotobrush duct cleaning system and evolved the duck as the company mascot.

Budget Heating & Air currently runs three service vans and eight installation crews with 25 employees now on board. Kevin’s wife, Jennifer keeps Budget Heating & Air’s office running smoothly with the help of her mom, Sherrill.
